    Impressionism got it's start painting the lovels effects of "London Fog" on light.
    When I was 13, I looked from Valhalla (a peak in Mineral king out in California) towards LA and saw a sunset Go through all the normal colors and also green and purple. Airborne particulates may be a lot of unpleasant things, but they sure are purty.
