Thanks, I heard a West Pointer describe them as "Power Point Rangers". He was using it for those without combat experience or pentagon occupants though.

There is a bloke, a First Sergeant if memory serves me right, on Facebook with the handle of Power Point Ranger.

He produces very satirical 'comics' with an emphasis on military life. Very amusing and sometimes very close to the knuckle. Anyone who has ever served will recognize the characters he portrays.

    Check out his blog at

    Facebook page at

Reminds me of my Chair Force experience with TQM. I went in as an idealistic 2nd Lt student pilot and left as a leadership starved, cynical Captain.

The order comes to "SECURE THAT BUILDING!"

MARINES throw in flash-bangs and do a room to room sweep.

ARMY calls in the artillery (RUN!) and levels the place.

NAVY emptys all the trash cans, mops, and turns out the lights as they lock up on their way out.

AIR FORCE gets a 2 year lease with an option to buy...

Erm, I found the first picture in a bit of poor taste...
