ISAF Joint Command morning operational update
KABUL, Afghanistan (Dec. 20) – An Afghan and coalition security force killed Taliban leader, Mahjur, along with one other insurgent, during a security operation in Nari district, Kunar province, Wednesday.
Mahjur was responsible for planning attacks against Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan officials, as well as, Afghan and coalition forces. He acquired and facilitated the movement of improvised explosive device components, weapons and ammunition utilized in attacks.

ISAF Joint Command morning operational update
KABUL, Afghanistan (Dec. 17) – An Afghan and coalition security force arrested a Taliban leader in Nad ‘Ali district, Helmand province, today.
The leader emplaced improvised explosive devices and coordinated attacks against Afghan and coalition forces throughout Nad ‘Ali district.
During the operation the security force also detained one suspected insurgent.

The facilitator provided direct support to the insurgents who conducted the Dec. 2 attack on Jalalabad Airfield.

ISAF Joint Command operational update
KABUL, Afghanistan (Dec 11) – Afghan and coalition forces killed the Taliban leader Allah Nur and detained three suspected insurgents during a security operation in Baghlan-e-Jadid district, Baghlan province, yesterday.
Allah Nur controlled more than a dozen insurgents and was responsible for improvised explosive device attacks in Baghlan-e-Jadid. He also oversaw the transportation and distribution of weapons and ammunition for insurgents in the district.
During the operation, the security force seized homemade explosives and other IED-making materials and several rocket propelled grenades.

ISAF Joint Command operational update
KABUL, Afghanistan (Dec 6) – An Afghan and coalition security force conducted an operation in Dara-e Pech district, Kunar province, yesterday that killed the Taliban leader Akhbar and several other insurgents.
Akhbar coordinated the movement of insurgent fighters in Kunar and was directly responsible for supplying money and equipment to insurgents for use in attacks against Afghan and coalition forces in the province.
