Had the Senate Armed Service Committee staff down to our home for a meeting about inadquate, painful, distrac ting helmet pads. Their bottom line: those lost due to those factors were 'insignficant in number'. Called them a few names,I did. One precious life lost due to malignant stupidity is too many. The letter you got from the Congressman I can show you a dozen just like it from those I've approached with emails from thousands of troops about their need for wearable as well as protective helmet pads. www.operationhelmet.org tells the neverending story.
