Peter Russell-Blackburn, Lancashire, England says:

Dear Michael Yon, As a father of a British Infantry Officer, I find it of great solace to read the words you have recorded, we , here in GB are fed only what our corrupt and Bankrupt Government want us to hear, we very rarely obtain such graphic and true detail such as you write. The general public here in the GB hold a special place in our hearts for all our service personel, especially the ones who are injured, and particularly the ones who never walk back, ....sadly the same cannot be recorded by the so called "Honorable Members of the British Labour Government" who wilfully hold funds back from our armed services, and try to blind us with figures that are meaningless, Thank you for your well written informative and historically important reports of this CONFLICT(in the English terms War is fought against a Nation or Country with their Armed forces as the targets, a Conflict is against unwanted outsiders who would change without invitation) . Many regards Peter Russell-Blackbu rn, Lancashire, England
